Mr. McClure graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1988 and earned his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in 1991.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McClure worked for the New York State Office of Mental Health’s Bureau of Employee Relations, and was associated with Hendrix & Aller and the Law Offices of Barry Schwartz in San Diego, California.
Mr. McClure has represented employers before State and federal courts as well as various State and federal administrative agencies, such as the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission, the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Occupational Safety and Health Appeals Board (Cal-OSHA), the California State Labor Commissioner, and the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.
Mr. McClure has written several articles for business and trade publications on a variety of labor/employment related topics, including independent contractor agreements, wage-hour laws, and sexual harassment in the workplace.
He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of the State of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Central and Eastern Districts of California.
Mr. McClure is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce and a current member of the Board of Directors of the Pleasant Hill - Martinez Soccer Association. He is also a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association (labor and employment law division) and the State Bar of California (labor and employment law division).
